Developed from the working Salmon fishing boats of the early 1900's, large numbers of these craft fished Morecambe Bay off the North West Coast and they were also raced by enthusiastic crews under their regatta rig.
Developed for estuary sailing the Lune Whammel craft offers stability and good sailing performance. The large uncluttered cockpit makes her particularly suitable for the larger group or for camp cruising afloat, yet she can be easily sailed single-handed.
This craft is easy to tow, launch and retrieve on its purpose designed trailer, ideal for trailer sailing giving a wide choice of sailing waters.
- Hull length 17' 4" / 5.28m
- Beam 6' 4" / 1.93m
- Sail area 140 to 160 sq.ft depending on rig chosen.
