Character Boats are original sailing designs, proven as succesful working craft and now a days  with upgraded internal for recreational use without detracting from their sturdyness or performance.

They are distinctive traditional craft with glassfibre hulls and cockpit mouldings attractively fitted out in hand crafted hardwoods.  The craft have rigid buoyancy built in between the hull and internal mouldings and are CE plated to European standards.

New craft are supplied with a comprehensive owners manual and guide for use and maintenance. Prices are for boat including rig and sails ready for use afloat. Engine, trailer and covers are optional items at extra cost, if required..

Several craft are available in various layouts and trim/equipment levels to suit the owners requirements termed as ‘Traditional’, ’Leisure’ or ‘Fisherman’ style..

The ‘Traditional’ is a de-luxe model for the private owner, with polished stainless steel fittings, Cockpit with overlaid hardwood seating and extra hardwood trim  with upgraded equipment and rigging giving that aesthetic appeal with low maintenance that many owners seek.

The ‘Leisure’ has glassfibre cockpit with good locker space, easy to clean and maintain, developed for sailing schools / hire trade and for owners wanting a simple but efficient boat.

The ‘Fisherman’ is in the style of an open working  boat with sturdy galvanised fitting
